Stronghold WikigamesStronghold is a 'historic real-time strategy (RTS)' game developed by Firefly Studios, and released October 2001. While the game focuses primarily on conquest and expansion through military pursuits, Stronghold does provide space for economic strategy and development: there is both an economic and a military campaign to be played and both are discussed in the game manual. The game takes place in Medieval Britain around the time of AD 1066, though, since there is sometimes no time limit, scenarios can continue to hundreds of years beyond this date.

Elfen Lied WikianimeThe Elfen Lied Wiki aims to retire a lot of the myths, misconceptions and over-simplifications about a great series, both manga and anime. Yes, it is harsh and it does go *there* more often than not, but the journey is well worth it. We have full summaries of all 14 anime episodes, and all 109 manga chapters, and full articles that cover every character of note. We also have a detailed article covering the differences between the anime and the manga, as well as articles covering aspects of that fictional world's harsh reality, and how it relates to our own. For those who might find the chapter summaries a bit much, we also have story arc digests that compress and summarize the plot. There are Fanworks pages where creative fans of the series can list and link to their works. Even a timeline has been established based on series information. Our aim has always been to make this wiki the go-to for all things Elfen Lied, a one-stop-shop for information. Our fondest hopes are that the manga be released in the United States, and that a second concluding season of the anime be produced. We figure making people aware of the series in an accurate way is the best way to accomplish this. The Elfen Lied series is not for everyone, but its our sincere hope that the Elfen Lied Wiki is. We have made it as accessible as possible, and crammed it with valuable info for the fan or the hater, if need be.

Crusader Kings II WikigamesCrusader Kings II is a Grand strategy video game developed and published by Paradox Interactive as a sequel to Crusader Kings. It was released for Microsoft Windows on 14 February 2012 to positive reviews. The game can be described as a dynasty simulator where the player controls a Medieval dynasty from 1066 to 1453. Through the strategic use of marriages and assassinations amongst many other things, the player works to achieve success for his dynasty. The simulation is open-ended so the definition of 'success' is completely defined by the player. The game employs a genetics and education system where children will inherit the traits, culture, religion and skills of their parents and educator. This adds an additional strategy to marriages where a player will attempt to breed the best individuals to maximise the quality of future offspring. There are five levels of authority in the game; four of which are playable: Barons (unplayable), Counts/Earls, Dukes, Kings and Emperors. Emperor positions are particularly rare, with only the Holy Roman Emperor and the Byzantine Emperor seated in 1066.

Total Annihilation WikigamesDefining the RTS (Real-time strategy) genre, Total Annihilation was a leap forward for these types of games, as it was the first to use 3D models, rendering and physics. Though the company that produced the game, Cavedog Entertainment, went under only a few years after TA's release in 1997, they did release two expansion packs and a more medieval-esque title in the series known as Total Annihilation: Kingdoms, which was unfortunately overshadowed by both the original Total Annihilation and the similar, more popular games at the time. Even after all this time, TA's legacy still lives on. The goal of Total Annihilation Wiki is to document all the information about Total Annihilation, including units, mods, etc. in a wiki-style format. There's still so much to do before we achieve this goal, but we're getting there, and that's the main thing.
