The Powerpuff Girls is an Emmy award-winning American animated TV series about three five-year-old girls in kindergarten who have superpowers. Created by animator Craig McCracken, the program was produced by Hanna-Barbera until 2001 when Cartoon Network Studios took over production for Cartoon Network. The series is a spoof on American superheroes as well as Japanese Tokusatsu heroes like Super Sentai (adapted in America as the Power Rangers). As is typical in McCracken's work, the show also makes heavy use of references to older pop culture, particularly the famous English musical group The Beatles. In 2002, the series was made into a feature film.

Elfen Lied WikianimeThe Elfen Lied Wiki aims to retire a lot of the myths, misconceptions and over-simplifications about a great series, both manga and anime. Yes, it is harsh and it does go *there* more often than not, but the journey is well worth it. We have full summaries of all 14 anime episodes, and all 109 manga chapters, and full articles that cover every character of note. We also have a detailed article covering the differences between the anime and the manga, as well as articles covering aspects of that fictional world's harsh reality, and how it relates to our own. For those who might find the chapter summaries a bit much, we also have story arc digests that compress and summarize the plot. There are Fanworks pages where creative fans of the series can list and link to their works. Even a timeline has been established based on series information. Our aim has always been to make this wiki the go-to for all things Elfen Lied, a one-stop-shop for information. Our fondest hopes are that the manga be released in the United States, and that a second concluding season of the anime be produced. We figure making people aware of the series in an accurate way is the best way to accomplish this. The Elfen Lied series is not for everyone, but its our sincere hope that the Elfen Lied Wiki is. We have made it as accessible as possible, and crammed it with valuable info for the fan or the hater, if need be.
