Harold Hutchins is a character from the Captain Underpants series of books, who is 10 years old at the time of the first book, and main Harold is 13 by the end of the series, he was confirmed Gay in one of the last chapters in the whole series. It was revealed in the the twelfth and final book, wherein George (Harold's best friend, who is probably straight, at the looks of things) and Harold went to the future, where it is revealed that Harold is married to a man, and quite happily it appears. (This is just a little personal thing, but I, for one, think that's really awesome that a book from 2015 has such quietly, naturally, sneakily integrated representation, I mean, they don't even like mention it in the book, they show you but don't tell you all like: "HEY HEY HEY WE HAVE A GAY CHARACTER!!" and the best part is George doesn't react, doesn't mention it either, he reacts the same way to meeting himself from the future, which implies that Harold had already come out to George at that time and was accepted and why am I going so in-depth about a children's book? Maybe because it's actually fantastic.)
Anyway, in conclusion Harold is gay, not like, stereotypically nonono, of course not. He just is and it's AMAZIN- we had to sack the previous writer for getting too in-depth about this.
